Weekly photo challenge: My 2012 in pictures
2012 was my first proper foray into blogging and I found time to pick up my camera properly again.
I can’t believe how many pictures I have posted but these are some of my favourites from the year and I think they sum up my 2012 pretty well :)
- My cat, having captured a new friend.
- Stanley the sparrow who used to glare angrily at me and tweet loduly in disgust at my presence.
- A poppy.
- The post apocalyptic landscape of Dungeness
- Guilfest 2012 at its most muddy.
- Looking like a Pre-Raphaelite muse.
- Leicester Carnival
- Sunrise over the Hog’s Back in Surrey.
- I discovered a new-found love of fungi.
- Beautiful landscapes in Leicestershire.
- Whitby Goth Weekend.
- My friend’s beautiful granddaughter Ruby.
- Greenwich Maritime Museum.
- My tribute to Ansel Adams.
- Elston Chapel, Elston, Nottinghamshire
- Remote cottage by the river.
- A beautiful sunset

You’ve taken some good shots Dory. My favourite has to be Dungeness though, a lovely shot and somewhere that I would really love to visit.
Thanks James. I think Dungeness has to be one of my highlights of 2012. It is an absolutely amazing place and I would love to return again soon.
Wonderful series to close out the year!
Thanks very much :)
